Walking down an avenue in Marbella

A shop for vanity, another shop for vanity.
A restaurant. Vanity, vanity. Bank.
Vanity. Restaurant, restaurant.
Vanity, vanity, vanity. Bank. 
A bookshop, finally.

On a closer look, it's abandoned,
vandalized, and not even for sale,
triggering the thought of Carthage
made barren with salt. 

But the Alboran Sea, the blue
Alboran Sea, tucked in between
--Restaurants. Shops for vanity--
the Baetic mountain range
and that of the Moroccan Rif,
is a bank, and a restaurant;
clear waters for biodiversity
